the backing paper represents the patterns mum used to do when she knotted my cardigans,had to use an embelishment so used a bow to represent the ribbons i always wore in my hair,and i wonder knowing the child i was how i come to leave them in!!!

I am so excited about this swap. I can hardly wait to see everyone. 'knotting a cardigan' does that mean knitting a sweater? Oh the language barrier!!LOL

a cardigan has buttons up the middle..to us in u.k....a sweater is a jumper,no buttons pull over the head hahamum incorporated some stitches as she knitted but sometimes sew them in after wards
