I got this idea in my head to use the corner stamp in the Doodle This set as a C'mas tree, and I have no idea where it came from, lol! The idea fairy, I suppose ;)
This card is for WT122, decorating the corners and WT120, ribbon revisited. I used crushed velvet pink ribbon to make photo corners on the main image by punching holes and threading it through.
I stamped the 'tree' in handsome hunter craft on wild wasabi cs and clear embossed, then cut it out. I watercolored the tree with an aquapainter and wild wasabi and handsome hunter inks from the lids to intensify the colors. I love this technique, and I learned it from labullard. Thanks so much for sharing your talent, Linda!! Here's her card: Double Slider - closed by labullard at Splitcoaststampers
I colored in the dots and flowers on the tree with the white gel pen. The 'tree trunk' is the flourish from Bronc Buster, clear embossed in chocolate chip craft on River Rock and then cut out. I had to cut off some of the flourish to hide it behind the 'tree.'
The dotted bg is stamped in versamark on the Purely Pomegranate and clear embossed. The letters on the side are brads but I cut off the prongs to cut down on bulk.
I used the 1/2 in circle punch to punch wasabi circles and cover them in latter clear bubble stickers.
The card is scored on the left and hinges on the score, like a book. The star says, 'hey!' (I had trouble finding something small enough to fit on the tiny star!!), the side says 'merry' and the inside reads 'Christmas.'
Everything's popped up.
TFL!
