 | | This is my card for this week's Inspiration challenge. Karen found a beautiful Christmas gift box to inspire us. At first I wasn't too sure about it, but then I got an idea and rolled with it! I stamped the pine bough from Peaceful wishes in forest green stazon on glossy paper, then stamped a snowflake from Snowflurries in versamark and embossed them in white. I added some crayon to some of the pine needles, then sponged so saffron and sage shadow ink all over the image using both emboss resist and crayon resist. After the two colors were dry, I added a fine layer of Brilliance galaxy gold over the entire image, then used a tissue to wipe away the crayon and any stray ink on the snowflakes. I finished the card off with some sparkly white organdy ribbon and a couple of gold jingle bells. |
