I drew the image first in pencil while in front of the monitor, and then took it to my drawing table and painted it there on good watercolour paper. This watercolour paper ROCKS!! It is worth every one of those 43 cents (per 9X12 sheet, with a 40% off coupon).
This is for a co-worker who's going on vacation soon. He likes Curious George.

I didn't know Curious George smoked the pipe. I'm happy you didn't put the pipe in his hand. He's for kids and he's one of my favorites. Fantastic drawing.
