slit punch circles..is this a new technique??

ok, has anyone else discovered you can make circles with your slit punch? I followed the tutorial by Julia, but instead of cutting the strip off, I flipped it over...and voila...perfect circles. I am feeling so proud of myself...however, will bow to those who have discovered this trick long before me Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
