This is my card for today's TLC challenge, which is to stamp on wet paper for a "wet watercolour" look. This was a fun one! I've been meaning to try this for a while.
ETA: Did I put my dp on wrong-way up??? I was trying to cut strategically to avoid the (c) Stampin' Up, which I always seem to have showing. Good thing I'm not hanging wallpaper today....
I used the flowers from Happy Harmony and coloured them with my markers and stamped them on wet watercolour paper. I added a bit more "grass" using the edge of my ink spot (I saw that on someone's blog - can't remember whose - sorry!!!). For the faux ribbon behind the image panel, I used my Magenta ribbon stamp. The patterned paper is from Palette O' Prints, and the sentiment is embossed with a mixture of white and micropearl pearl ex. (I am trying to use up this mixture, which I had out for another project and I can't bring myself to throw the rest of it away....).
I had originally done this card with the tent card design (started by Michelle Wooderson???), but I smeared the embossed sentiment. sigh.... I think I like this one better anyway.
