It all started with a challenge: ways to use a coaster in your stamping. I have coasters around the house - they're all from restaurants and are bright vivid colors.
I tried to create a blank canvas by stamping with white ink - and only created a mess and the image still showed through. Embossing powder covered the image, but I was left with what seemed like a giant golden disk instead of the coaster I started with. The Faux Metal Technique was the best idea I had in breaking up all that embossing powder.
I gave this card a difficulty of 3 because I can never get the embossing powder to stick to the just melted stuff - it takes longer than I think it should.
