I just knew that I had to have this Stampendous Ruffled Bloom stamp the second I read about them on Jenn Balcers blog (after all Jenn has exceptional taste). I love flowers of all kinds, so if I see a flower I like, I get it.
This card was made as a RAK for Joan B. I'm RAKing her with some Bella images as she had started a thread asking people if they liked the Bella's.
I used my CB Textile embossing folder on SU Vellum (CS weight) and then placed this over a shimmery white layer with vintage brads. I stamped the Ruffled Bloom on shimmery white with Black Staz-On and colored with my watercolor crayons and an aquapainter. I used my Quickie Glue glue pen to outline the swirly lines on the perimeter of the flower and then covered with dazzling diamonds. The center of the flower has crystal effects and microbeads (must definately practice this particular technique). Some Michael's pretty purple velvet ribbon finished off the card. Inside the card I lined with Shimmery White and stamped the sentiment 'Happy Everything' from the retired Mixed Greetings set. See next upload for detail view of flowers.
