I lost more than 2/3 of my stamps sets! What I have left fits on a self and a half. I think from now on if you want to know if something is going to retire, all you need to do is ask if I have bought it! LOL

Wow! I am so sorry! I was thinking of signing up to be a demo, but I decided to wait till we settle in our new home and see how many demos are around here. 14 of my sets retired. I only have 9 left that are current. I am bumming big time here. What some thing chocolate, I will go make something for us!

I hoard my stamp sets. Even after they retire , I can't bear to part with them! My big problem...I'm running out of storage space! My bigger problem is that with so many sets retiring, there's bound to be so many new ones I'm going to want to get!!

I love 70 out of 120 so I feel your pain. I'm SOOOOO DIssapointed. THis is the only thing I hate about this business. I know all companies do it but it stinks. Too bad they wouldnt give us a discount to refresh our stock. After all it will boost their sales when our customers see what we have new. Oh well. What can you do????

We buy more. I feel the same as Cathy. I am a demo and retirement doesn't bother me a bit. I always use my stamps. I buy them cuz I love stamping. The business is a bonus. I use my demo discount as an excuse to buy more.. So let's just wait and see what is in the new catty. We may be pleasantly surprised. I am excited to add to my collection. I will have to buy more cabinets to fit them all. I pretty well stocked up already.

To-day I really feel sorry for you and all the other demos out there. Even with a demo discount it is still a lot of money. It is a great marketing ploy... and it's making somebody rich.

Don't get me wrong, I am truely excited about the new catalog, I really can't wait to see The new sets. I say "lost" because I know I won't use them anymore. I will sell them at a discount and buy new sets with the money I make. I used to keep my favorites and say I could never part with them. It took a couple of years to realize that I was so busy having fun with my new favorites that my old retired set just sat on the shelf. If it has been a year without using it, it is a shame to keep it. So now I purge my space clean and have lots of room for the new gems waiting for me to grab up!

I know exactly how you feel. I went through my catalog yesterday marking what was retiring. It seemed as though everything I had was retiring. I love that they come out with new sets, but I hate that I can't demo my retiring favs. Maybe I should start purging too. Just can't seem to part with many of my retired sets.
I counted 76 sets, 15 hostess sets, and 17 wheels that are retiring from my collection. I've never purged my retired sets and space is becoming an issue for me also. I'm thinking about getting rid of my non-SU! sets to make room for all the new sets I'll be getting from the new catalog. I don't have the heart to count how many I have that aren't retiring. It maybe less than half.
