I was inspired by (in this order) the colors, the flowers, the leather, and the gold hardware.
Background was stamped with canvas first to give it more of a textile texture. The tabs are from Cuttlebug tiny tags dies. The oval is a Marvy punch. The sentiment is from the 'thanks' Cuttlebug embossing folder set, which I then heat embossed with a Versamarker and gold embossing powder to make it stand out even more. I pierced and added faux stitching and sponged the blush layers to give the 'leather parts' more texture. |
