Here is one of my Sunday projects. It is a great pocket card. I found these wooden flowers, squares, ovals, etc. for $0.74 at Walmart and was so excited. I started out making the actual pocket card with Choc. chip cs. I used white eyelets from the dollar store and added some light brown ribbon (from Michaels). I put some GAsic Grey paper on the bottom and stamped Happy Birthday in choc. chip.
Then I made the pull out tab. I took a piece of paper that coordinated with my colors from The Old World Stack (DCWV) and cut it to fit inside the pocket. Then I added the wood flower covered with more of the Basic Grey paper and I sponged the edges with close to cocoa. The center is a 1 1/4" circle of hte DCWV paper. I made a stem and leaves for my flower.
I also added a final piece of the Basic Grey paper on the back of the pocket which is where I will write nice things to the recepient.

This is quite pretty! Don't you love those great deals on items that become terrific embellishments! Thanks for the fantastic directions! It's so nice to see HOW some of these cards are made! Terrific choice of colors and papers turned that 0.74 flower into a great card!
