As usual.... I am enjoying myself with VSN.... Thanks to all who worked so hard to get this fun weekend planned. It's running VERY smoothly!
Great job, girls!!!
Well.... I almost didn't upload this, but I figured I spent the time doing it, I might as well show it.
I didn't have anything big to 'alter'.... just this tiny Altoids tin. As for what "survival items" are in the tin.... Words of love and encouragement.
I stamped some 'friend' sentiments:
Thinking of you is a nice thing to do
You're simply the best
Friendship isn't a big thing, it's a million little things
Delight in Life
Special thoughts for a special friend
Each on a different coordinating piece of c/s.
I also fit a piece of paper in the bottom of the tin with Cheesecloth b/g and
Never forget... you're never forgotten
stamped.
I put two picture together so you can see both, the outside, and the inside.

This is so neat, I have a few of these tins and just havent figured out what to do with them. Great idea. I like how you used the rings to put the sentiments on. TFS

Joan this is so cute. I think you did a great job on the challenge.I love the paper you chose and putting the survival
sentiments on a ring inside is just so clever. Who wouln't enjoy receiving a thoughtful gift like this.
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

Ah Joan - see I told you earlier in the week from the supply list that you would come up with something great for whatever challenge invoved a tin to be altered!!!
This is a great idea - everyone needs encouragement and friendship.
