You can buy a square foot of these wonderful 2 inch tiles for about 12 dollars and you get 36 to stamp away on! I've had a lot of fun with these. They make great hostess gifts

These look very sophisticated! Is that all you do? Stamp with Staz-on ink? You don't need to prep the surface? Very nice collection you have going there!

All that you need to do to prep the surface is wash the tiles and dry them before stamping with Stazon. The marble is very dusty otherwise. I ended up making a ton of these and the coasters for a recent craft festival, hence the collection!
I get the tiles at Lowe's, but you can get them at Home Depot as well. They come in a square foot all attached to a mesh background. Easy to pull off! They run about $12 for a sheet of 36.
Thanks for your kind words!

I used Crystal Effects just because I had it on hand. I'd look for something else if I were doing it again--something a little more grabby in the beginning I think.

These are very pretty, stamping off the edge was a good idea. Did you heat set the staz on? I'm doing a community project tonight, and we might not have electricity.

Mary Eileen--
No, I didn't have to heat set them at all. The Stazon was set and would stand up to scrubbing under water after about an hour. Good luck and thanks for the praise!
