I liked the idea of covering file folders with SU's new Au Chocolat paper as shown in the current Spring Mini catalog, so I decided to give it a try. I also covered an inexpensive file folder holder with the Au Chocolat paper as well. I gave this as a gift to my hostess for last night's workshop.
Although I do like the way it turned out, it took a lot of patience and not to mention a LOT OF STICKY STRIP!
ETA: It turned out to be a bit more expensive than I would have liked. I went ahead and covered both sides of the file folders with the designer paper - something I wouldn't have to have done if I had used regular manilla folders . . . but I used pre-decorated ones. So each folder took 2 pieces of paper and the box took 2 pieces of paper too. The folder box was one of those that you assemble . . . so I covered all visible parts while unassembled, and then assembled it. Another reason it took a lot of sticky strip.

WOW! You've set the bar high for your next hostess gift! I'd hostess a party for you ANY day with a giftie like THAT! Beautiful job! I agree...that pic in the mini catty made me want to re-do all my file folders in my drawer, but bills just don't DESERVE that pretty stuff!
