This was fun trying out the "reflection technique. I used acetate, stamping on front and back to make the reflection, then carefully embossing with white embossin gpowder on one side and hologram highlights on the other. Then I used spray adhesive, sprinkled with dazzling diamonds, and adhered to background piece. Well, There's a lot more to it than that, but that's the basics.

Very pretty and old fashioned looking. Thank you for explaining how you did the reflection technique here. Very ingenious and produces a great effect. Did you do the spray adhesive/DD glitter on the front or the back? How did you adhere it to the background piece? TFS. Linda

I did the reflection part first on the acetate. I stamped it in white, embossed with Hologram Highlights, then turned the sheet over and stamped the design and sentiments, sprinkled with white EP and then turned it over and sprayed the back (where the reflection is stamped on the face) and sprayed it with adhesive. I sprinkled liberal amounts of glitter on the back, then sprayed again and affixed it to the background sheet. This corner punch was purchased at JoAnne's.

This is beautiful. Isn't acetate kind of like a plastic type of sheet. If so, I tried embossing on it and using the heat gun and it didn't work at all. I actually had more of a mess than anything.
