I haven't stamped much at all in the last many months. But I'm getting back into it and here's my newest creation. It was in response to Amy Westerman's Super Sketch Sunday challenge http://heartfeltgreetings.blogspot.c...ch-sunday.html . I did a lot of popping out of images because I love dimensional cards. To me, they come alive when popped out. I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig and blocking to do the word phrase. I did the watercolor misting technique on the butterfly by coloring with markers on the shadow stamp. Then I spritzed with water and stamped. I used the water brush and the markers to add more color as I wasn't satisfied with the results.
My apologies to those who went to my gallery one day and found my artwork gone. I was seriously planning to leave the Internet and was pulling stuff intending not to return. But return, I did. So I'm sorry for leaving y'all hanging like that. Dumb decision on my part. Anyway, back to stamping!

Welcome back to the gallery! This card is too cute. This is one of the sets that I HAD to have when I first started, now it tends to sit on my shelf! Thanks for the inspiration.

I was just thinking of you today and wondering where you'd gone. It is GREAT to see you posting again! Your card is wonderful--love your signature *pop* of black.
