Mary Polcin gave me one of these treat boxes a couple years ago as a swap, and I finally got around to making one for upcoming workshops this month. It is so easy, and our 2 sided paper makes it even more special!

This is for a 1oz. package of Sweet Tarts.
Paper dimensions are 7 1/4 x 4 1/4
score at 1 1/4", 2", 4 1/2" and 5 1/4" this makes the box go around the sweet tart box....make sure that you have the same size sweet tarts as I am using or you will need to adjust your measurements.
Then decorate as desired.
Punch a hole on the front and back of the box for your ribbon, I reinforced them with eyelets.
Glue box together with sticky strip.
Using a 16" piece of ribbon, thread the ribbon through both holes, so the ribbon will be stretched between the two holes at the top of the box, then put the candy box in the cardstock box and so it goes over the ribbon and slide the candy into the box and it will push down the ribbon, tie on top once candy box is all the way down, I added more ribbon...cause...well more ribbon is good.

Just so you are clear on what this looks like, when you push the candy box all the way down, it is hidden by the cardstock and all you see is the ribbons on the top, then you pull on the ribbon and the candy come up. I just took the picture this way to show you what was inside.
