This will be a hostess gift, but I haven't decided what will go inside yet. Flowers are colored with markers and cut out. I connected the bottom a bit different than the tutorial. I used 1" x 3-1/2" strips of lightweight card stock folded lengthwise, so 1/2 of the strip is glued to the vertical coaster and 1/2 is glued to the bottom coaster (need to shorten this to 3-1/4" so it doesn't interfere with the punched holes). This method was much easier for me to hold the pieces together.

This came out beautiful! I love it! Just made my 1st coaster box today too, yours came out awesome.... I found the bottom gluing to be a pain in the neck ( I actually used a hot glue gun) - ill have to try your tecnique next time....

I really like this. I like the way you laced the ribbon to connect the coasters. You had a good idea for connecting the bottom. Do you think it would work by lacing the bottom together as well like you do the sides?
