Here is my page for Vicki's Brisk Bobsledding challenge to scrap a page using metal and the cracked glass technique.
It is hard to see in the photo, but all of the cut out leaves are cracked (and cracked quite a bit actually) glass, then I cut them out and glue dotted them so they curl a bit.
This layout is from a sketch in the current CK magazine (Thanks to Donna!!) and the chipboard letters in the title are from Emily (oh how lucky can a girl be!) I swiped some craft caramel on them to tone them down a bit. I wrote 'Take a' over the letter H. The journaling is written around the outside edge of the largest mat.
We took Papa and Grandma down to Castlewood Canyon. It was still a little snowy and slick, so we didn't hike around too much. The kids love climbing around on the logs and rocks and play8ing in the creek. We drove up to the dam ruins, too. The road was narrow and snowy and I thought we were stuck for sure.
