We learned in our stamp club how to cover a composition book. I made this for my dh to make notations in when he is doing family history research. Dividers are close to cocoa CS cut to size with allowance for tabs, and just glued to 2 of the lined pages of the book. The photo in the slide mount is actually a copy of a photo of his great, great grandparents. There is ribbon glued inside the cover to use as a marker. I glued the key and lock stickers to cardboard and cut out to mount to the front. The little cutouts on the slide mount are "leftovers" from the die cut corners. The corners are also on the back of the book. The vellum words and quote are done on the computer.
I am making a 2nd book for my side of the family.

WOW! This is wonderful! You did a great job getting that vintage feel. This is something I think I might have to make to keep MY notes in while digging for my roots!
TFS!
