I made this quilt for my doctor who was decorating the baby's room in a seaside theme. Her receptionist was making the curtains and gave me the scraps to use for the crosspieces. This was my first experience with hand-quilting!

I love the idea that you've made this and are now giving to someone special as a gift. How awesome is that? Please let us all know what your doctor's reaction to this is. I would be honored and love & pass this quilt down forever...

As a former quilter gone stamper with small children so no room for both....You did an OUTSTANDING job. What a fabulous job. I hope the recipiant really appreciated the hours it took to make this. WOW!!!

WHOA! I too, quilt, (well, did!) before I lost my sewing room and know what goes into quilting. The value of the time and effort you have put into this is enormous. The love you must have for your doctor is overwhelming. Thanks so much for sharing your talents with all of us. Wonderfully awesome job. The doc will be humbled to receive such a gift.
