This set was from the summer mini, but I can't stop using it. Of course, the paisley background is the best. I used the twist spectrum (yoyo yellow, green galore, glorious green, ballet blue, and lovely lilac) on white and then trimmed off the greeny yellow part and sponged over with ballet blue.
The slip is stamped in tempting turquoise and cut out (with a hobby blade inside the straps) then touched up with watercolour pencil crayons.
I stamped it in night of navy to create a shadow (and the phrase). The edges are distressed with my fingernail and then with water
The flowers in the background are filled with water colour pencil crayons and washed over with water.
Aida cloth is in the background (ballet blue on taken with teal.)
The ribbon is sponged over with ink and done in a chainlink fashion.
I like to make a bunch of stamped images in one sitting (made this one months ago) then use them later when inspiration strikes.
Thanks for looking,
Mel
