My TLC86 holiday card with nontraditional colors. I thought it might be hard, but once I chose my colors I was off and running. I did hear my Hero Arts Xmas stamps crying out......"pick me, pick me"..poor negleted things :-( I did use Flannel (my fav. BG stamp lately....besides Paisley) and Linen. I chose Vintage Violet and Morning Marigold for my nontraditional colors. I used leslierich's idea of stamping Flannel with one color (V.V) and then turning stamp and stamping in a 2nd color (after cleaning stamp), which was Cranberry Crisp. Thanks Beth for another fun technique.

Oh, Nancy, this is just wonderful! I LOVE the flannel stamped this way! It's so funny, I just got back from a trip to my fav SS and I bought this exact same holly stamp, great minds think alike! I really like the berries with the crystal effects and pretty xmas script!

Oh, how nice -- I really love that b/g flannel you created with the 2 colors -- I didn't know to do that, but now I do -- thanks so much!!! I really appreciate when people elaborate on instructions -- it sure helps. I am always attracted to the non-traditional colors for Christmas -- always have been -- this is just really pretty.

Hero Arts meets Stampin' Up--a great combo! I love the two colors you chose for your Flannel. They work really well together. It's very Christmasy looking in spite of the nontraditional colors. Nice touch with the Crystal Effects. I like it!

Wow, your color choices are great! So vibrant! I really like that two-toned flannel background. You have inspired me to use the new In Colors more. TFS. Linda

Your card looks great in these colors. Thanks for telling about how you did the BG. Great idea.
