FS1008 Hello Friend

This is for the Featured Stamper Challenge this week. I chose a card from the gallery of maryrose. This is the card I chose to CASE -

PTI April Blog Hop by maryrose at Splitcoaststampers

I kept the same design but used different colours and changed the theme from coffee to flowers.
I inked up the Pb flower using markers and water misted. Cut the panel to size and inked around the edges with the Grassy Knoll ink. I added a black pearl to the centre of the flower. The bg panel is a piece of c/s which had been placed in my box I use for glimmer sprays. It was there for a while so has many colours sprayed on it and is quite sparkly IRL. I added the sentiment popping it up using Dimensionals.

I am going to have to try and create some of these pretty Penny Black flowers - using markers. Tried a couple of times with not much success - but after looking at all the ones you create I must give it another try. Incredible inky background too.

Wow that glimmer spay "catch-all" piece really set the mood for this card.
I have a lot of PB flowers but have never seen this one - I love the look of the open bloom with the chubby buds about to burst open. Beautifully put together.

I have often said that the prettiest piece of art in my craft room is the inside of my splatter box - look at you taking that idea and making it work for a card! So smart! Lovely flower, too!
