Photo Details
Poster: MDO Susan

Die Cut the slatted circle from a Petal Pink 4 1/8 in. x 5 3/8 in. panel. I trimmed the slatted circle with a 2 3/4 in. circle die so that there would be some white showing all around the circle when it was in place. Embossed the Petal Pink panel and adhered it to a heavy duty 110 lb. white card base. Inserted the slatted circle in the middle of the white area. Adhered the die cut poppies and dragonfly to the panel. (Hint: with these dies I used waxed paper between the die and the cardstock.). Cut the label tag and then stamped it with the sentiment. Tied the twine bow and secured with with a glue dot.

So pretty and feminine. I especially like the lacy embossed layer.

The delicate die cut blooms stand out so well against the embossed background, and I enjoy how the slatted circle, the soft pink tones, and the little twine bow work together to create a refined and feminine composition.

I love this card, Susan. All your elements and colors work together to create a lovely, feminine card that can be used for any occasion. Nicely done.
