Any chance I get, I love to duoprint with chlorophyll. There is a tutorial on SCS. I had already done the background with the leaves in my backyard (silver maple) and picked up the seeds from another type of maple on a walk. I tried to duoprint with the seeds but it didn't work very well. Works better with gel printing.
I had the leaf frond from another earlier project, I think done with DOx sprays. I added a bit more of tea dye ink to the edges.
I didn't have time for the IC because of a very long track meet. https://www.kartotidesigns.com/produ...ac9f826b&_ss=r
Love can be filled with pain, in my experience. Tomorrow is the 10th anniversary of my little brother Bill's death. Sometimes I feel like I will never stop grieving him. He was a sweet little boy, a rather difficult but clever and interesting man, but he was there when I needed help, like when I had a bat in my bedroom at 1030 pm. He was also my Mom's caretaker. His death was a shock to us all. He was only 54.
I have a couple of friends who are working through the death of their spouses and this will go to one of them soon. And, BTW, I didn't 'lose' Bill. He will always be with me.
Thanks for the challenges! |
