WT1104 - Legs

Lisa has picked "Legs" as her theme for this week's WT challenge. How fun and the possibilities are endless.

I went with a daddy long legs spider. As spiders go, this one is my favorite. This was super fun to draw and paint. I followed this Andrea Nelson tutorial:

Nancy, I LOVE this card. I am not fond of Daddy Longlegs because one chased me one time (kid you not), but nonetheless, I think your card is wonderful and a great interpretation of the theme. Hugz

How you got those shadows right is beyond me! The little eyeballs are piercing and just look at those knobby knees. It's gotta be a "she" Daddy Longlegs. She's so cute, I feel like she needs a name.

Fantastic spider, the shadow works so well! The textured paper just sets things off nicely and the sentiment is perfect. Thanks for the pointer to the tutorial, must check that out.
