Layers of ink
I looked at this die on my desk, turned it on the side and realised it looked like a rickety ladder which gave the idea for this tag. I paired it up with some words and die cut one word with alphabet stamps.
Coat the background with gesso and make marks with a palette knife. Let dry and then paint. Silver emboss dots and stamp birds and alphabet. Add some black paint around the edges.
Die cut the ladder five times from brown shades of paper. Glue together, offsetting the last layer slightly for a shadow. Die cut the two sentiment and letters for the second sentiment. Glue everything to the background.
