This week we are going to be painting with a fan brush. I also used a feather brush for my painting. This video was picked by Janine aka Jay Bee. https://www.facebook.com/reel/2011517829761209 Watched the video and tried to imitate the artist. My fan brush is a little too big so I used a feather brush which is similiar. After completeing the painting I decided to try this new to me double vision eclipse card.
The artist used the fan brush to paint a springtime tree. What I learned is the paint has to be a creamy consistency for it to work. Come try out this technique. I will be using the double vision technique again. It is fun and it has a fun look.

Oooh that adds such cool interest to have the scene popped up like this. I love that you built a whole meadow scene for your tree as well Linda. This is beautiful.

Your springtime tree has such a graceful flow with the soft fan and feather brush textures creating natural movement in the canopy and the creamy paint consistency giving the leaves a smooth layered look while the double vision eclipse layout adds a striking dimensional effect that pulls the eye straight into the scene and the color swatches and brush choices show how thoughtfully you approached the technique which gives the entire piece a fresh lively presence that suits this challenge beautifully.
