 | | For today's Colors, Linda chose: Misty Moonlight, Lost Lagoon, Wild Wheat. Dessert: Add a fourth Color. Mine is Pecan Pie.
For today's water colored card, I cased this scene.
I bought this stamp set at a yard sale some time ago and was hesitant on using it. When I saw Roxie's card, I decided to give it a Go. The water was masked to add the sky. I left unpainted areas for clouds, but thought they looked too white, so I painted over them. Then I took a wadded up piece of paper towel and dabbed over some areas to create clouds, and I was way happier with the results.
Next, I masked the sky to add the water, then stamped the basket/hat image and colored them. The sand was painted and grass/reeds were stamped. I used a marker to color them in and painted the rocks. A sand stamp was added as well.
When I was finished, I used a sponge to darken the edges and to darken areas of the sand too. The black panel is on foam tape. The Canvas bg stamp was stamped in crumb cake on crumb cs.
Thanks for stopping by today! Come along with us and share your Beautiful creations using Linda's colors. ~Roberta |
