 | | Congratulations to Featured Stamper #1002, Donna who in known here on SCS as jdmeeks!
Today I am casing Many Thanks Acorn by jdmeeks at Splitcoaststampers because I loved her colors and design. I flipped to horizontal orientation and used different sentiments from her same stamp set, plus decorated the envelope flap with the matching wheel and whooshing image.
I meant to use scalloped squares but that was too distracting, so I punched them again with a slightly smaller square and was delighted to see notched edges that looked perfect with the deckled-edged panels.
The dragonflies have been in my leftovers bin quite a while, so they finally get used here - hooray!
I often get comments on my bows, so I included in the photo one of the jigs I make in all sizes. Just follow instructions for a FORK BOW.
Inside: same as envelope
The weekly FS Challenges can be found here Featured Stamper Forum at Splitcoaststampers so check every Sunday for new inspiration.
