 | | It is my pleasure to be your hostess in the Color Challenge this week. I chose some very warm colors: Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana and Gorgeous Grape. The dessert option is to use a punch or die cut.
This design was a class project from over a year ago, but I've just now gotten around to creating my card. I started by applying ink directly to the rubber stamp, lightly blending with a brush to combine the colors where they overlap. This technique created the in-between colors of orange and green. I love the way the ink colors blend into a rainbow.
I used a die set to cut the stamped panel into smaller rectangles and to create the other layers, assembled and added a few black rhinestones and a heat-embossed greeting.
These are some bright colors this week! Grab your sunglasses and make something pretty with them!
