IC1060 - Elephant Stock - INSPIRATION

My card was inspired by the beautiful bee image surrounded by flowers. I reached for this Spellbinders bee die and cut all the layers from paper scraps, keeping with the scrappy theme. The wings are cut from vellum for a soft, translucent look. After assembling the pieces, I layered the bee onto a die-cut oval and added the birthday sentiment along the bottom.

To echo the floral inspiration, I placed the focal panel on rose patterned paper and then mounted everything onto a pink cardstock base. A scattering of yellow candy dots finishes the card with a touch of brightness.
