This is for today's sketch challenge SC1107 - a nice, quick layout that I'll definitely use again. Dry embossed the base layer, added a strip of adhesive paper from a pack that's been in my 'collection' for more than a minute. Die cut the hummingbird circle out of white cardstock and mounted it on a scalloped circle from the adhesive sheet. It's actually much pinker than I could manage to capture in my photo - close enough to 'hot' pink to add to the ABC challenge for H. Added a birthday sentiment and a wee heart. Another card for my RMH project.

The embossed background gives the whole design such elegant lift, and that bold pink behind the hummingbird really energizes the focal circle. The scalloped layer frames it beautifully, and the tiny heart is a sweet finishing touch.
