 | | Nancy (nwilliams6) is our hostess for this week's Teaparty for Marilyn, who is in need of our encouraging and uplifting cards. Nancy's challenge is The Nurturing Qualities of Nature, to create a card with a camping or nature theme.
I had the mountains already stamped onto the CS in my stash, so I just ink-blended the sky and the land with Distress inks, and stamped some flowers, butterflies, and grass. I colored the mountains with colored pencils. Added the birds with a fine liner pen. Colored the butterflies and drew around them, too, as they really weren't showing up well.
I tried to add a small, fussy-cut camper image to this, but it was just too "cutesy" for the scene, so I left it as just a nature theme. I hope Marilyn will imagine going camping in this peaceful field near the mountains! TFL! |
