 | | This week's alphabet challenge color is Indigo. I used Gina K Designs Wild Wisteria for the Indigo color. I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest where she used these colors with the thumping technique. This is when you add another color on top of the base color to add a bit of texture. On the flowers, I used SU Gorgeous Grape and Grass Green for the vine and leaves. I am not sure they showed up much, but it was nice to revisit a technique. The sequins were made with a lawn fawn die and colored with the same marker as the border. I generally have white cardstock handy but not other colors, so I often color the white paper for a layer. The sequins seem quite dark, but once glued down they are difficult to remove. They will be fine and whoever receives this will not notice. |
