Sketch for Easter
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: berlycece

It's time for another sketch, and I am this week's hostess.

It's been quite a week. We moved my mom into memory care today. So I grabbed an image pre-stamped and used markers that were still out from last week. I wanted pink, didn't have one. To my right was a pink highlighter I am using in my spiritual reading. Yep. That oxide-looking stuff is a study highlighter. Kinda funny, which might be exactly what I needed tonight.

The lesson here is this:
Even on - maybe especially on - the rough days, be sure to carve out time for your craft.

Yes, crafting is good for us. I'm glad you were able to make the time to make this lovely card. Pretty embossed background and that is a lovely image you had already stamped and waiting. I hope things go well with your mom in her new location.

Giant hugz, Kim. That is a tough week.

I am so impressed with your creativity in coloring this too. It is a beautiful card. Hugz

I have been on the path you are on. It certainly has its challenges. I hope your Mom settles well and I am so happy you took time to do something you love on a day full of emotions. Huge hugs. Great card. Thanks for the sketch. Hugz.

Such a heartfelt and beautifully composed card. The soft palette, gentle embossing, and delicately colored blooms create such a peaceful Easter scene, and the way you adapted with what was on your desk adds an unexpected charm. The whole piece carries a sense of calm and resilience, making it even more meaningful after such an emotional day.

Your card is beautiful Kim. So sorry about your mom and will lift her (and you) up in prayers. Thanks for all you do with these sketch challenges. Crafting is a good distraction ❤️
