This week's Teaparty is for my sweet friend Marilyn who recently had a very difficult back surgery and then lost her husband of many years.

I was inspired by one of the teapots in the challenge thread and painted something similar. Nature was such a big part of Marilyn and Ray's lives. Camping was one of their big joys.

I hope you will join us in sending her a little cheer and that you will leave the card blank inside so Marilyn can send it to someone (if she can stand to part with it). Sending cards to the shut ins and hurting in our church and community is a big thing with her.

Nancy, I don't even know what to say. I stood here with my jaw dropped staring at this gorgeous card for awhile before realizing I really needed to say something...

I need a new thesaurus to come up with words to replace fabulous, fantastic, awesome. This is probably one of my favorite of your paintings. Not so much because I think you did a better job painting because all your work is wonderful; but because I just absolutely LOVE the scene and the feeling it evokes. So, the word I thought of: supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
