Father's Day Golf
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: Shoe Girl

FS998 - this week's featured stamper is ggurreri. I found this INSPIRATION.

I was instantly drawn to the golf theme in the inspiration piece and reached for this great golf die set from Spellbinders. I die cut the golf elements, adding shading and highlights to the club before assembling the pieces.

With the focal elements ready, I pulled out the paper pad I am working to finish this year and built the layout using several coordinating scraps. The golf pieces are arranged on a black banner that I white heat embossed with a Father's Day sentiment, giving the design a crisp, bold finish.

Thank you for stopping by. I would love it if you would check out my Blog: Shoe Girls Cards.

Thank you for looking!

The first thing I noticed was the beautiful shading on the head of the club. It REALLY gives this element a realistic look. The 3 small graphic patterns compliment each other and give this card a structured masculine feel.

Great Father's Day card. Love the lively mix of papers that highlight your golf elements. The white sentiment pops nicely on the black panel.

This is so striking (pun intended) Lisa! Those graphic patterns and colors, framed in black, really punch up the elements. Every major shape is represented beautifully: line, circle, square, rectangle, triangle, and that diagonal oval-ish golfclub brings it all together. Fabulous!
