A couple years ago, I bought a grab bag of commercially produced cards with the intention of using elements from them in my crafting. This card is the result of that ongoing project.
I started with the pile of strawberries, which was cut from the top of the commercial card. (The bottom of the commercial card became part of a different project.)
The strawberries coordinated really well with a sticker I got awhile ago that depicted a kawaii possum holding a strawberry. Since the strawberry pile was made from a thicker material (cardstock) than the sticker, I arranged things so that the pile would be in front, with the sticker placed behind it.
The sticker also included a lot of white space around the image, so in order to make that less noticeable, I attached everything to a white background.
I framed the white with some red cardstock, and then again with some red flower patterned paper. The red flower patterned paper came in a grab bag of origami paper that I bought at the local Goodwill.
I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock and framed it with more red cardstock. Lastly, I added the two strawberry embellishments.
I managed to make three different cards from pieces of the single commercial card that I used here (two pieces from the front, and one piece from the back).

Wonderfully cheery card. Great way to repurpose the items from your grab bag.
