Poster: lacyquilter

This is my card for alpha challenge round 24 letter E - ecru, eggplant (use one or more of these colors). I used both.

The cream & eggplant card base was in my stash (made from an old file folder). When I stamped the flower, the image smeared a bit, so I used a sharpie to add extra parts. I crocheted the lace edging.

Melody, what a elegant crocheted edging in ecru with the eggplant and stamped flowers. I love how you fixed your smear, it looks like the extension of flowers should be there.

Fabulous card! The stamped image is so delicate and a prefect match to the crocheted lace. My grandmother and her sister were great needlewomen and they made all kinds of doilies and even tablecloths out of the fine thread. It is so nice to be able to accent your card with your own handiwork.
