 | | Cool old. Like old enough to know what color the label is on the Clint Holmes "Playground in My Mind" 45. That was my favorite one when I was a kid and the inspiration for the label on this record. I actually have two copies. One is blue with green petals and one is orange. I don't know where the orange one came from.
For yesterday's "Play the Music" challenge, I had to get out my record player die set from Honey Bee Stamps. Because I love record players and you can pretty much sell me anything if it has records on it. And that is why I have a background all stamped up with records all over it waiting to be used on another card. It was originally going on this one, but it was way too busy. This orange sunburst DP was just interesting enough. But once I got the card all done it felt boring to me. So I roughed up all the edges and sponged some antique linen and brown inks around the edges to give it a nice, vintage look. |
