 | | I'm so sad for Brenda and her family. I can't even imagine having a child die before I do.
I did use the camouflage technique but very different colors from the usual because I used the ABC24C colors-cream, cranberry and chartreuse.
I wasn't sure I would like all three together but I think it works fine.
Using yesterday's sketch, I diecut the SSS cosmos petal dies. Cosmos have 8 petals and a largish yellow center. They come in several colors, not the colors I used though. The cream paper I used is a darker version of very vanilla, kind of French vanilla. I don't know what color the red paper is. I think it was a piece of 12 inch cardstock from Club Scrap. Cranberries come in lots of colors, from pink to almost black dark red. I live very close to cranberry country in Wisconsin. I have a small collection of cranberry glass and most of it isn't very dark. I'll add a sentiment inside.
I enjoyed the sketch and making a card for Brenda, albeit a sad occasion. Thanks for the challenges! |
