 | | My card was inspired by the Sketch Challenge. I changed the orientation to portrait and added a small sentiment below.
The heart was a gift some years ago. It was embossed and die-cut with the ribbon fed through the holes. I lost track of who sent it to me. I love it. Thank you to a generous friend!
I found the heart in my stash today. The embossing is a little crooked. So, I used it for a Valentine for my DH. He looks at all the cards I make and comments on them, but he probably won't even notice the misaligned embossing.
I wanted the heart to pop, so I put it on a black mat on a white card base. The panel was embossed with my newest EF. It just debuted this week.
The red sentiment strip was from my stash, it was heat embossed. The ends were cut at an angle. It was a perfect fit for the heart. I added a cute, punched sentiment below the heart.
