 | | For Jean's TLC on Monday, which I am only getting to. And although it wasn't intended, the best stamp I could think of for stamping off was this pine bough to make a frame, so it fits Nancy's challenge today too.
I cut the square, and then stamped three times along each border without inking the stamp up . Sponged some soft blue into the centre to help the bird stand out, added the sentiment. The bird is nested on a pine bough - it's cut from pearlescent white, and I just used a red sharpie to colour the inlay for the wing.
I have a lot of cards going to people who have had a bereavement this year, and Peaceful Wishes is my go-to sentiment for those. This goes to an old school friend who lived in the same town I did - her mother died unexpectedly recently. In fact I usually get all the family news from the yearly letter her mother sent in a Christmas card, and I would update Judith with all our news - too many people had to be crossed off my list this year :-(. |
