Not a true Josephs Coat - I stamped the image with Gina K Whisper, and then I daubered on colors where I wanted them to be. I am a little disappointed - it's not really as vivid as I imagined. I switched up colors a little from my first one, and I made sure that there were no white areas.
My sister mentioned something about coloring on embossed images with Blends. I wasn't very happy with my panel, so I decided to go ahead and try that. I was much happier with the results.
I had stamped an image with Old Olive ink for another card, but I decided to use it on this one as a mat. I double matted it, with Old Olive, and used 1MM Foam Squares to attach it to the base.
I stamped the base with Painted Season and Pecan Pie ink.
I used a blending brush to add Old Olive to a white strip, then stamped the sentiment, punched the ends, and flicked the edges. I adhered with dimensionals.
I was inspired to try this technique by Patsy Collins, Joseph's Coat Technique and I was trying to use the layout from Stampin Pretty Newsletter Exclusive Sketch 11-05-2025. I altered the sizes on the sketch quite a bit.
