This week's Ways to Use It challenge is to use a map. I cut up an old map and printed the car image on top of it, then used colored pencils to color in the car to make it stand out a little more. Mounted the map on black. The white card looked a little bare, so I clear-embossed agrid-type pattern on it. Initially, I tried sequins as an embellishment, but they didn't look quite right, so I hunted around and found this decorative tape (which seriously looks like golden tread marks).

That's really cool the way you printed your image straight onto the map so that it still shows through the colouring. That's also very cool decorative tape.

Sandy, so sorry I am late commenting on this card. Your car is fabulous on the map, and the sentiment makes it even better - some true words. GREAT friend card. Hugz

Terrific ideas! Love the car on the map. Your coloring does make the car stand out without obscuring the background map. The clear embossing on the card base looks great. Love that tape, too. Great card!
