A few years back we travelled our country roads and found a trail to wander. We collected fall leaves and made collages to photograph in the woods. Thus the layout for my watercolour leaves, which I accomplished by tracing around my IO leaf dies and then fine tuning a bit. I could not for the life of me accomplish the veining technique with the back of the brush, so the front it was. Sabrina challenged us to use maps and I had this perfect little strip to very subtly play with my image and encourage trips to scenic destinations. If you ever come across an indigo leaf, send me a picture, pretty please.

Well, just wow! I love this beautiful leaf painting. I really like you have added some berries, also. Your veins look great using front or back of brush. The sponging around the oval image really made it all stand out in such a pretty way. And, you do seem to have had the perfect map for Sabrina's challenge. Way to get in two challenges. So happy to see you join the WCW this week. Don't be a stranger from now on.
