This weekâs Ways to Use It Challenge is "stones or rock.â I found a piece of polished stone in my stash (where I believe it has been waiting patiently for probably a decade), and decided to use it for a Christmas card because itâs shiny and gold. The stitched rectangle is dark green, and I splattered some gold paint on it. The sentiment is gold-embossed.

I am amazed you had this piece, and could actually find it! Pretty with the dark green and gold embossing, Sandy.

The polished stone ornament is such a clever and elegant touch—love how the gold and dark green create a rich, festive vibe. The gold splatter adds just the right amount of sparkle, and the sentiment embossing ties it all together beautifully.
