 | | This is the second of two cards for the Color Challenge. I am your hostess this week. I selected two In Colors: Peach Pie, Petunia Pop and an original exclusive color, Old Olive. The dessert option is to use Twine of any color.
During holiday seasons, I like the send birthday cards that are not in the traditional colors or style. I thought these colors for random, falling leaves adds some whimsy and fun. I stamped in the three colors, layering Olive on Peach card base. The sentiment was heat embossed on Petunia.
I used a white twine bow. I had big ideas to color the twine with blends markers or dye with reinkers. I tried both ideas, but I did not like it on my card. I will use the colored twine another day. I kept it simple with the cute, white bow. A few shimmer gems for a final touch. Thanks for looking!
